Small local pub has amazing selection of beer, whiskey, and mixed drinks. Some games to play. Sports on TVs around every wall of the bar.

Nice spot for a quick meal. Service good, we had beef stew and fish and chips. The food came quickly and was good.

The menu here is relatively limited and inconsistent in quality. Their chicken pot pie specials often are all gravy with very little solid in the middle. It's a good neighborhood place to hang out with friends and have a drink and a snack. Walking distance to several small boutique shops a theater and other eateries as well.

Quick bite and drinl after a Rhody game. Server was the best. Food was terrific as usual. One of my favorite local establishments

Love this place. All around solid bar and drinks are cheaper than Mews right up the road . And the bathrooms smell like lemon!!😁👍

Best meal I've had in a long time. Had that homecooked feel but was unique. I will definitely be going back next time I'm I'm the area. The pricing wasn't bad either. Server was super sweet.

My wife and I went to Mary Murphy's last Monday around 7 for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. We had a very good experience. The waitress was attentive and pleasant. We enjoyed some Jamison's and a mountain of nachos as our traditional Irish dishes were prepared to perfection. My wife loved the beef stew and I always enjoy the shepard's pie.We're so glad to have Mary Murphy's right in the center of Wakefield within walking distance of our home. It never disappoints!

Had some good beef stew. The staff was nice and kind.

We went on a cold Friday in December, we were able to quickly find a high top table. We had fast service with an attentive waiter. We both had a burger and beer. Reasonable selection and the burger was cooked to our liking. The lettuce and tomato were nothing special but we did have the option to add extras like avacado and bacon. Dinner for two with tip was $50.

Food is good, but the service earns it 4 stars. Willing to take feedback and they always make dinner enjoyable. Whiskey selection is FABULOUS.

We have been here twice, each time for Parents weekend at URI. It's a cozy pub that's not fancy, which I love. The menu isn't large but there's something for everyone. The food is great! We had the Guiness stew which is amazing and the fish and chips which was delicious....both were large portions. Our server was friendly and accommodating.

Amazing how the bartender took care of the bar and the dining area all by himself. Good food and a decent tap selection.

Really good simple food, especially the burgers. Excellent service as well. Our group had a really fun evening together. Was told that they recently changed ownership and updated the decor. Also had a selection of some interesting beers. Would definitely recommend and will certainly come back again.

Given this is probably the second game in town after Muse, this place is worth a visit. The staff is friendly and the beer selection in whiskey selection are decent. The prices are good and the Ambiance was Irish and delectable in that the music was not too loud there are large tables, and lots of space for people together. Unfortunately the old Fashions are not to be recommended. Stay away from them do something new

Good food. Decent service. From what I've seen they usually only have one waitress working the floor (it's pretty small), so service is sometimes slow. I was pretty disappointed however with managements decision to start charging an extra service fee for paying with a credit card. This is the 21st century, It's absolutely ridiculous to charge extra for paying with a credit card. If our waitress didn't say anything to us we never would have noticed. Management trying to sleaze a few extra bucks. Not good.

It's a decent Irish pub with a nice interior. Small groups and families can get together here and enjoy themselves with plenty of libations to go around. The food can be a little hit or miss. The potato skins with cheese and corned beef was good, but a little underwhelming and lacking a little in the corned beef area. My son and his friend really enjoyed the Murphy burger, I also thought the Guinness beef stew was excellent, but my wife wasn't so enthusiastic about the fish and chips. Over breaded for her tastes. The prices weren't too bad and the waitress/bartender, she did a hell of a great job

We always enjoy stopping by for a burger and good selection of draft beer. It is quieter than some of the other pub restaurants nearby. The food is excellent and the servers are friendly and attentive.

Service was great, really enjoyed the hot&sweet wings, but it wasn’t until we received our check that we were told there was a service charge for using a credit card. Should not be up to the server to tell customers, should be posted or printed on menu.

Like everybody said - a small local pub.There was two staff members on a Friday night. The prices for their food was not reasonable by any means. Service, due to them being understaffed, was pretty poor quality. I'll go back to see how they are when they're not understaffed and able to refill my water at least once in the time I was there.

We've enjoyed a few Saturday lunches. Murphy Burger is excellent and so are the fries. Amazing selection of Irish Whisky and Ashley always takes really good care of us. Liz & Tom.

The first time I tried this place was just for drinks. Patrick was the bartender, he made a few suggestions and made a great drink. The next time I went back (a few days later) another male bartender was there he was very nice and friendly. I had the beef stew which was OKAY, disappointing for an Irish pub. It was under seasoned, not much flavor. They put a big pile of mashed potatoes on top(who doesn't love mashed potatoes) but there were more cut up potatoes cooked in the dish so overall the dish was 75% potatoes. It was also advertised that it came with bread not mashed potatoes but that's not the biggest deal. I will definitely try this place again in hopes of a better food experience.

We always visit this restaurant during Family weekend at URI. The food is always delicious! Pur favorite is the Guiness beef stew and the Fish and chips.

Service was excellent, and the food was surprisingly good, given the unassuming appearance from the outside. Brought the kids and everyone left happy.
